Using your K&N air filter is easy. First, locate your factory air box in the engine compartment. Open the air box, remove the old air filter, and simply drop in the new K&N filter. Make sure it fits snugly and close the air box. As for maintenance, the filter is washable and reusable. When it gets dirty, which usually happens after about 50,000 miles depending on your driving conditions, remove it from the air box. Use a K&N filter cleaning kit. First, spray the cleaner on the filter and let it soak for a few minutes. Then, rinse it gently with water. Let it dry completely before applying the K&N filter oil evenly. Reinstall it in your air box. Keep in mind that while the filter is built to last, it's important to check it regularly for any signs of damage. If you notice any tears or excessive wear, it might be time to replace it. Also, always follow your vehicle's maintenance schedule and make sure to use genuine K&N products for the best results.
