Using your K&N Universal Air Filter is easy. First, find the right spot for it in your equipment's air intake system. Make sure the rubber flange fits snugly. If it's a bit tight or loose, you can stretch or adjust the flange up to 1/16 of an inch (1.5mm). When installing, ensure there are no gaps for air to leak around the filter. As for maintenance, check the filter regularly, especially if you use your equipment in dusty or dirty conditions. When it gets dirty, simply wash it with a mild detergent and water. Let it dry completely before reinstalling. Avoid using harsh chemicals or solvents as they can damage the filter. With proper care, your K&N filter will serve you well for a long time.
