These Honda/Acura K24A MidWeight I - Beam rods come with ARP2000 Fasteners. Crafted from aerospace - grade 4340 chromoly steel, they're ideal when you're generating over 350HP, more power than BC LightWeight rods can handle. Each rod undergoes CNC machining and micropolishing. It has Aluminum/Silicone/Bronze pin bushings and is honed to precise tolerances. Rod specifications: C - to - C is 5.985', BE Bore is 2.008', BE Width is 0.780', PE Bore is 0.866', PE Width is 0.780', Gram Wt is 488, and Torque Specs are 45 ft lbs - 3/8'.
Using these connecting rods is straightforward. First, make sure your engine is properly prepped and clean. Install the rods according to the torque specifications (45 ft lbs - 3/8') provided. When handling the rods, be gentle to avoid any dents or scratches. For maintenance, regularly check the rods for signs of wear or damage, especially if you're pushing your engine to high power levels. Keep them clean and lubricated. If you notice any unusual noises or performance issues, it's a good idea to inspect the rods right away. Also, don't exceed the 500WHP rating as it can cause damage to the rods and your engine.
