Product Description

The MB1 - HDSS kit comes with ACT's top - selling Heavy Duty pressure plate and popular street disc. ACT's Heavy Duty pressure plates use a unique diaphragm design. This design boosts the clamp load, reduces deflection, and extends the clutch's lifespan. Every diaphragm goes through a four - stage heat - treating process for outstanding performance. The precision cover stampings of ACT pressure plates ensure rigidity and consistency. ACT's Performance Street discs are made of premium organic materials with high copper content, which helps with better heat transfer. They also have a steel - backed lining for enhanced burst strength and durability. These discs have less marcel for quicker shift actions, perfectly complementing the ACT pressure plates, and offering increased strength and reliability. This clutch kit fits a wide range of vehicles, including 2004 Chrysler Sebring Base, 2003 - 2004 Chrysler Sebring LX, 1991 - 1996 Dodge Stealth Base, and many more models.

Using this clutch kit is straightforward. First, make sure your vehicle's engine is off and the battery is disconnected. Remove the old clutch components carefully. Then, install the new ACT clutch kit following the standard installation procedures for your vehicle model. It's important to ensure all parts are properly aligned and tightened to the recommended torque settings. When driving with the new clutch, give it some time to break in. Avoid sudden and aggressive starts during the initial period. For maintenance, regularly check the clutch fluid level if your vehicle has a hydraulic clutch system. Inspect the clutch components for any signs of wear, such as unusual noises or difficulty in shifting gears. If you notice any issues, it's best to have the clutch checked by a professional mechanic. Keep the clutch clean and free from dirt and debris to maintain its performance and longevity.
