The K-Tuned heater hose delete cap is a must - have for all K - series engines. It effectively blocks off any unused 5/8” diameter coolant ports. Ideal when deleting heater hoses and other coolant - related accessories, these caps are especially useful for engine setups using our K - Tuned Water Plate system.
Using the K - Tuned heater hose delete cap is easy. First, identify the unused 5/8” diameter coolant ports in your K - series engine. Then, simply fit the cap onto the port firmly to block it off. When installing, make sure the cap is properly seated to prevent any coolant leaks. As for maintenance, occasionally check the caps to ensure they're still in place and there are no signs of wear or damage. If you notice any issues, replace the cap right away. Also, keep the caps clean to ensure a good seal.
