Using this Aeromotive replacement element is easy. First, identify your filter using the chart and drawing provided. Make sure it's one of the compatible part numbers. Then, carefully remove the old element from your 2 - 1/2' OD x 7' long ORB - 12 filter housing. Install the new element and use the included o - ring to reseal the filter assembly. When using it as a pre - filter for fuel pumps up to 6 GPM, ensure the fuel type is gasoline, diesel, ethanol, or methanol. As a post - filter for larger pumps up to 32 - GPM, double - check the pump's compatibility. For maintenance, regularly inspect the element for any signs of clogging. If it looks dirty, it might be time to replace it to keep your fuel system running smoothly.
