Aeromotive Replacement Element, 10-m Fabric, for 12310/12311 Filter Assembly, Fits All 2-1/2 OD Filter Housings

Part Number 12610: 10-M Fabric Replacement Element. This is a service element for Aeromotive Billet in-line filters. It fits all 2-1/2' OD x 7' long ORB-12 filter housings and comes with a new housing o-ring to reseal the filter assembly. Suitable only for the pressure side of a fuel pump with gasoline and diesel based fuels. Direct replacement for filter part numbers 12310, 12311, and 12360. Not for use with alcohol based fuels including ethanol (more than 10%) and methanol. For alcohol based fuels, see Part Number 12639. Using this Aeromotive replacement element is easy. First, make sure your fuel pump is turned off. Remove the old filter element from your 2 - 1/2' OD x 7' long ORB - 12 filter housing. Take out the new element from the package and put the included new housing o - ring on it. Then, insert the new element into the housing and reseal it. Remember, this element is only for use on the pressure side of a fuel pump and with gasoline or diesel fuels. Don't use it with alcohol - based fuels like ethanol (more than 10%) and methanol. To keep it working well, check it regularly. If you notice a drop in fuel flow or the engine performance isn't as good, it might be time to replace the element.
