Product Description

Part Number 12639: A top - notch 10 - M Microglass replacement element for Aeromotive Billet in - line filters. It fits all 2 - 1/2' OD x 7' long ORB - 12 filter housings. This element is suitable only for the pressure side of a fuel pump and can be used with gasoline, diesel, ethanol, and methanol fuels. It's a direct replacement for filter part numbers 12339 and 12341. Recommended for alcohol - based fuels like ethanol and methanol. For a filter element suitable only for gasoline - based fuels, check out Part Number 12610. Refer to the filter chart in the left image gallery and the filter dimensional drawing to identify your filter and find the right replacement.

Using this Aeromotive replacement element is easy. First, make sure your fuel pump is turned off. Then, carefully remove the old filter element from your 2 - 1/2' OD x 7' long ORB - 12 filter housing. Place the new 12639 element in its place. Remember, this element is only for use on the pressure side of the fuel pump. It can handle gasoline, diesel, ethanol, and methanol fuels, but it's especially great for alcohol - based ones. When it comes to maintenance, check the element regularly. If it looks dirty or clogged, it's time for a replacement. You can refer to the filter chart and dimensional drawing in the image gallery if you have any trouble identifying your filter or the right replacement part.
