Product Description

The DC Sports 4 - 1 Ceramic Header designed for the 16 - 18 Scion iM and 09 - 14 Matrix chassis is crafted from top - quality T - 409 mandrel bent stainless steel piping and CNC machined flanges. Each header is meticulously tig welded by hand, both on the outside and inside of joints. The larger - than - stock diameter piping, mandrel bends, and equal - length primary runners ensure a smooth, unrestricted path for exhaust gases, boosting HP and TQ across the power band. Its ceramic coating reduces under - hood temperatures and withstands corrosive road conditions, offering protection up to 1200 degrees Fahrenheit.

Using this DC Sports ceramic header is straightforward. Just replace your old header with this new one following the standard installation procedures for your 16 - 18 Scion iM, 08 - 14 Scion xD, or 09 - 14 Toyota Matrix. When installing, make sure all connections are tight to prevent exhaust leaks. As for maintenance, regularly check the header for any signs of damage or loose connections. Keep it clean and avoid hitting it against hard objects. In case you drive in harsh conditions, it's a good idea to inspect it more frequently. If you notice any problems, have it checked by a professional mechanic right away.
