Rife presents the 3/8' NPT RIFE Liquid Temperature Sensor with Deutsch DTM Connector 53 - 1002, ideal for measuring coolant, water, oil, transmission fluid, and fuel temperatures. In an EFI system, having an accurate, durable, and fast - acting sensor is crucial. Slow - reacting sensors can lead to engine damage or incorrect tuning by providing wrong data. Most aftermarket EFI sensors are based on old 80s and 90s factory tech, but RIFE sensors are completely redesigned. They use in - house made bodies and state - of - the - art sensor technology. Features include a 2 - Pin DTM Connection, 3/8' NPT threads, a temperature range from - 20F to 300F, and a Deutsch connector. These sensors respond faster and are more accurate than traditional factory - style sensors used in EFI systems. Note that mating connectors are not included. For connector kits, click here. Unlike many Motion Raceworks products, these sensors are not 100% Made in the USA as sourcing all domestic electronic components has been challenging. To calibrate with aftermarket ECUs like Holley, Fueltech, and Haltech, refer to the setup sheets. If you need a different size or plug style, check out our full line of liquid temperature sensors here.

Using the 3/8 NPT RIFE Liquid Temperature Sensor is easy. First, make sure your engine is off and cool. Then, screw the sensor into the appropriate port using the 3/8' NPT threads. Connect it to your system using the 2 - Pin DTM Connection and Deutsch connector. When using, keep in mind that the sensor has a temperature range of - 20F to 300F, so don't expose it to temperatures outside this range. Mating connectors are not included, so you'll need to get them separately. For calibration, refer to the setup sheets for Holley, Fueltech, or Haltech ECUs. As for maintenance, keep the sensor clean and free from dirt and debris. Check the connections regularly to ensure they are tight and secure. Although we try to source all US components, these sensors are not 100% Made in the USA.
