Our K - Tuned 5th, 6th and reverse Gear Lockout for the Billet RSX Shifter is a well - guided setup. It features a spring - loaded pin that locks the shifter out of the 5 - 6 - R section. This way, you only need to focus on shifting to the 4 corners. This unit is made mainly of solid steel and comes with all the necessary hardware for easy installation. Whether you have a street car or a race car, our 5th Gear Lockout will surely keep your gears in place. Remember, this unit is manually operated. There's no automatic fourth - gear release like the lockout for the stock shifter. It's only compatible with the K - Tuned Billet RSX Shifter V.3 and doesn't come with the shifter itself.

Using this K - Tuned Gear Lockout is straightforward. First, make sure you have the K - Tuned V3 Billet RSX Shifter because this lockout only works with it. The unit comes with all the required hardware for installation, so just follow the included instructions to attach it to your shifter. When you're driving, the spring - loaded pin will keep the shifter out of the 5 - 6 - R section, letting you focus on shifting to the 4 corners.
