Product Description

The K - Tuned CMC Reservoir is a top - notch direct replacement for your remote - mounted reservoir. Crafted from 6061 aluminum, it offers outstanding durability. The double o - ring seal is a game - changer, completely eliminating the risk of leaks. The diaphragm allows fluid to move freely while preventing air from interacting with the brake fluid. This is super important because brake fluid absorbs water from the air, which can lead to early clutch fatigue and overheating. You can change this reservoir without bleeding the clutch system. First, put an absorbent towel or cloth under the CMC and reservoir to avoid brake fluid getting on the paint. Remove the stock reservoir from the bracket and empty it into a container. You can turn it upside down without disconnecting the line to the CMC. Then, figure out how to mount the new bracket and remove the stock one if needed. Disconnect the line from the base and attach it to the new billet reservoir. Finally, slowly fill the new reservoir. It's available in three sizes: 1/4' Hose, 3AN, or 4AN.

Using the K - Tuned CMC Remote Mount Reservoir is easy. When you're ready to replace your old reservoir, start by placing a towel under the CMC and the reservoir to protect the paint from brake fluid. Take the stock reservoir off the bracket and empty it into a bucket or cup. You don't have to disconnect the line to the CMC to turn it upside down. Next, decide how to mount the new bracket and remove the old one. Detach the line from the base and connect it to the new billet reservoir. Then, carefully fill the new reservoir with fluid. Remember, this reservoir doesn't require you to bleed the clutch system when changing it. As for maintenance, keep an eye on the fluid level regularly. If the fluid is low, top it up. Also, check the double o - ring seal for any signs of wear or damage over time. This reservoir comes in three sizes - 1/4' Hose, 3AN, or 4AN, so choose the one that suits your needs.
