Product Description

Part Number# 12001. This 2' Filter Housing O-Ring Service Kit is a must - have. It comes with a 10 - pack of in - line filter body replacement o - rings. These o - rings fit all Aeromotive 2' diameter in - line filter housings. For filter assemblies with cleanable, stainless elements, you can easily clean them and replace the o - ring. For those with non - cleanable, 10 - m Fabric and Microglass elements, you can inspect and reseal them. All replacement elements include a new housing o - ring. It fits all 2' Aeromotive filter housings with ORB - 10 ports, like 100 - m Stainless Part Numbers 12304, 12324, 12354, 12307; 40 - m Stainless Part Numbers 12335, 2330; 10 - m Fabric Part Numbers 12301, 12321, 12351, 12306; 10 - m Microglass Part Numbers 12340, 12350, 12346. It also fits all 2' Aeromotive filter housings with AN male flare, such as 100 - m Stainless Part Numbers 12389, 12379, 12349; 40 - m Stainless Part Numbers 12388, 12378, 12348; 10 - m Fabric Part Numbers 12387, 12377, 12347; 10 - m Microglass Part Numbers 12385, 12375, 12345.

Using these o - rings is easy. First, make sure your filter housing is the right 2' diameter Aeromotive type as listed in the product details. Then, remove the old o - ring from the filter housing. Take one of the new o - rings from the 10 - pack and carefully place it in the groove where the old one was. Ensure it's seated properly. When using filter assemblies with cleanable elements, clean the elements first and then replace the o - ring. For non - cleanable elements, just inspect and reseal. As for maintenance, check the o - rings regularly for signs of wear or damage. If you notice any issues, replace the o - ring right away. Keep the o - rings in a cool, dry place to prevent them from deteriorating prematurely.
