The K-Tuned Side Mount Pulley Kit Race Version is a game-changer for K-Swapped and original K-Powered cars. It ingeniously combines the 2-Bolt side engine mount on the timing chain case with two adjustable pulleys. This creates a robust and compact mount/pulley combo, freeing up valuable space in the engine bay. Both pulleys offer great adjustability - the black pulley has three mounting positions, and the top black pulley slides along the bracket. Note that on some pump-driven vehicles like the RSX, you may need to delete or relocate the power steering. During installation, keep the factory alternator in its OEM location and remove the factory auto tensioner and idler pulley for the belt. This gives you an extra 2 inches of clearance beside the intake manifold, making it a perfect fit for larger, aftermarket, straight runner intake manifolds without extensive modifications. Rotrex supercharger users will love this design as it gives the Rotrex charger a sleek look and allows you to keep the AC if desired. This pulley kit is highly adjustable and can accommodate multiple OEM applications and various belt lengths. In most cases, you can simply transfer your current belt to the new kit. All parts are CNC machined from billet aluminum and anodized, making them lightweight yet strong. The side mount is Helicoiled to prevent thread damage during repeated install/removal. Fitment is engine block specific, with different bolt patterns for K20 and K24 engines. Applications include K20A/A2/Z1/Z3 and all K24A Series Engines. Features are designed for racecar applications, anodized black finish, about 2 inches of clearance increase beside the intake manifold, and compatibility with the Rotrex Charger Kit. Must use M14 x 1.5 35mm long or an OEM alternative to mount this kit. The K24 Bracket is based on the CR-V bracket and only fits specific applications. It works with most K24-Swapped vehicles like the RSX but won't fit Accord, TSX, Elements, or specific Civic SI chassis (2006 - 2011 8G and 2012 - 2015 9G).


Using the K-Tuned Side Mount Pulley Kit Race Version is straightforward. First, check your vehicle type. If it's a pump-driven one like the RSX, you'll need to delete or relocate the power steering. When installing, leave the factory alternator in its original place and remove the factory auto tensioner and idler pulley for the belt. Make sure to use an M14 x 1.5 35mm long bolt or an OEM alternative to mount the kit. If you're unsure about fitment, contact us. Most of the time, you can just transfer your current belt to the new pulley kit, but there might be exceptions if you're deleting accessories or using another aftermarket pulley setup. Regarding maintenance, since the parts are made of billet aluminum and anodized, they're quite durable. However, periodically check the mounting positions and the tightness of the bolts. Also, keep an eye on the belt for any signs of wear and tear. And remember, the fitment is engine block specific, so choose the right one for your K20 or K24 engine.
