Product Description

Part Number 18368 - Universal A1000 Brushless Stealth Fuel Pump. This pump features A1000 Performance Plus with advanced technology. It comes with a universal filter pickup and allows for an overall height adjustment from 10 - 16 inches. The A1000 offers great performance. For fuel - injected engines, it can support up to 1300 FWHP in naturally aspirated setups and up to 1000 FWHP with forced air induction. For carbureted engines, it can handle up to 1500 FWHP in naturally aspirated cases and up to 1200 FWHP with forced air induction. It's E85 compatible (reduce max FWHP by 30%), lighter than the traditional A1000 pump, and draws less current at higher EFI pressures. It has an extended service life in methanol and ethanol. An integral, external brushless controller ensures a clean installation, cooler fuel, and enhanced reliability. It's also quieter than the traditional A1000 Stealth Pump. It has an ORB - 10 outlet port. Requires a straight 12 - VDC to 16 - VDC power supply and is not compatible with pulse modulated systems or fuel pump speed controllers. The EFI rated flow is 700 lbs./hr. @ 45 psi, 13.5 volts, and the carb rated flow is 900 lbs./hr. @ 9 psi, 13.5 volts.

Using this Aeromotive fuel pump is straightforward. First, make sure to connect it to a straight 12 - VDC to 16 - VDC power supply as it won't work with pulse modulated systems or fuel pump speed controllers. You can adjust the overall height of the pump from 10 to 16 inches according to your needs. When it comes to different engine types, it performs well for both fuel - injected and carbureted engines, but keep in mind the FWHP limits based on whether it's naturally aspirated or has forced air induction. If you're using E85 fuel, reduce the max FWHP by 30%. For maintenance, since it has an extended service life in methanol and ethanol, it should last a long time. However, keep an eye on the current draw, especially at higher EFI pressures. The integral, external brushless controller helps with reliability, but if you notice any issues with the installation or the fuel temperature, check the controller. And because it's quieter than the traditional A1000 Stealth Pump, any sudden increase in noise could indicate a problem.
