1/4 RIFE Surface Temperature Sensor Direct Wire

RIFE's Surface Mount Temperature Sensors are designed for 1/4' Bolt. These sensors have a temperature range from -20 to 275°F. You can choose between bolt - down or sub - surface mounting. The bolt - down style for 1/4” Bolt comes with an insulating washer. For sub - surface mounting, it can be installed in a 3/32” hole using epoxy, silicone, or a 400°F adhesive disc (included). Note: Due to the wiring size and product usage nature, we recommend creating a strain relief for the wiring. Unlike most Motion Raceworks products, these sensors are not 100% Made in the USA as we've faced challenges sourcing all electronic components domestically.

Using this RIFE surface temperature sensor is straightforward. First, decide whether you want to use the bolt - down or sub - surface mounting method. If you choose the bolt - down style for the 1/4” Bolt, just attach it and use the included insulating washer. For sub - surface mounting, find a 3/32” hole and use the epoxy, silicone, or the 400°F adhesive disc provided. When dealing with the wiring, remember to create a strain relief because of its size and the way the product is used. Regarding maintenance, keep the sensor clean and dry. Check the wiring regularly for any signs of damage. Also, be aware that these sensors are not 100% Made in the USA as some electronic components couldn't be sourced domestically.
