1-4 K-SERIES SYNCHRO MESH GEAR KITS, HELICAL & STRAIGHT CUT

PPG 1 - 4 Helical and Straight Cut Gears offer smooth synchro engagement. They utilize the stock 5th gear and final drive. The gear kits come with two sets of great ratios: 'Helical Cut' with ratios of 2.75 / 1.93 / 1.40 / 1.05 and 'Straight Cut' with ratios of 2.615 / 1.666 / 1.15 / 0.909.

Using these gear kits is quite straightforward. Just install them in place of your existing 1 - 4 gears and make sure to use the stock 5th gear and final drive as specified. When using, drive smoothly to let the synchro engagement work effectively. As for maintenance, regularly check the gears for any signs of wear or damage. Keep them clean and lubricated according to the vehicle's maintenance schedule. If you notice any strange noises or difficulties in shifting, it's a good idea to have them inspected by a professional.
