We've revamped our well - loved Swivel Neck Thermostat Housing. It now uses an OEM style thermostat, which maintains the factory cooling recirculation port. When the thermostat opens, the OEM style T - Stat closes off the recirculation port. We've also added two rad fittings: a standard 1.25' hose outlet and an optional 16AN hose outlet. If you want to swap to different temp thermostats, you can use a 2002 RSX Type S Thermostat. This design replaces the top half of the original thermostat housing and requires you to keep the back half of the black plastic housing. It features a threaded - 16 rad hose port, enabling easy conversion between 1.25' and 16AN radiator hoses. Our swivel neck offers 360 - degree rotation for perfect rad hose positioning. It also includes an - 8AN accessory port with an optional plug. This thermostat is suitable for all K series engines.
Using this K - Tuned Swivel Neck Thermostat is easy. First, make sure you keep the back half of the black plastic housing as required. Then, replace the top half of the original thermostat housing with this new one. You can easily convert between 1.25' and 16AN radiator hoses using the threaded - 16 rad hose port.
