Using your K&N air filter is a breeze. First, open your vehicle's factory air box. Then, take out the old air filter and simply drop in the K&N replacement filter. Make sure it fits snugly in place. When it comes to maintenance, every 50,000 miles or so, check your filter. If it looks dirty, it's time to clean it. You can use K&N's filter cleaning kit. Just follow the instructions on the kit, which usually involve soaking the filter in the cleaning solution, rinsing it gently, and then letting it dry completely before oiling it. Remember, don't use any other oils apart from K&N's recommended filter oil. Also, always make sure your hands are clean when handling the filter to avoid introducing extra contaminants.
