This Cobra Cold Air Intake System is a perfect fit for all 2017 - 2021 Civic Si 1.5T models and is compatible with the Honda Sensing Package. Canadian models need a USDM Windshield Washer Reservoir Conversion supplied by Teknotik. ### Overview Get access to the SI Street Install Guide and SI Race Install Guide. ### Important Notes - No calibration is needed for the Street MAF Housing. - Race MAF - specific calibration is required for the Race MAF Housing. - Race MAF basemap calibrations are available in both Hondata & KTuner. - Two Step Performance 'TSP' & Phearable calibrations are compatible by selecting the 'Race MAF' option. - It's not compatible with the factory CVT cooler (Spain, Turkey, etc.). ### Technical Notes Our Cobra Cold Air Intake System is well - known for a reason. The CNC machined billet aluminum MAF Housing is designed to offer factory - spec fuel trims (-4% of factory STFT & LTFT) for great drivability and performance. The Cobra CAI has a 4' volume from the air filter to the MAF Housing and comes with two MAF housing choices: Street and Race. Both use the factory MAF sensor but have different diameters and profiles. The Street housing provides factory - spec fuel trims without any tuning, while the Race housing allows 50% more air volume, thus requiring a tune. This larger airflow reduces pumping loss and creates an unrestricted air path with ambient temperature air. Customers can switch between MAF housings using our MAF Housing Conversion Kit and convert to a Short Ram Intake with our Short Ram Intake Conversion Kit. ### Performance Gains - With the Street MAF housing and no tune, gain 15 horsepower and 12 ft/lb torque compared to stock. Using this Cobra Cold Air Intake System is straightforward. First, refer to the SI Street Install Guide or SI Race Install Guide according to your needs. Make sure to follow the calibration requirements. For the Street MAF Housing, no calibration is needed, but for the Race MAF Housing, you'll need to do a Race MAF - specific calibration with Hondata or KTuner. When it comes to maintenance, regularly check the PRL Motorsports High Flow Oiled Cone Air Filter. If it gets dirty, clean it following the manufacturer's instructions. Also, inspect the silicone hoses and clamps periodically to ensure they are in good condition and properly tightened. Keep in mind that this system is not compatible with the factory CVT cooler in some regions like Spain and Turkey.
