These Honda/Acura B18C MidWeight I - Beam rods come with ARP2000 Fasteners. Crafted from aerospace - grade 4340 chromoly steel, they're a great choice when your power output exceeds 350HP and the BC LightWeight rods aren't enough. Each rod undergoes CNC machining and micropolishing, has Aluminum/Silicone/Bronze pin bushings, and is honed to precise tolerances. Product specifications: C - to - C is 5.433', BE Bore is 1.890', BE Width is 0.858', PE Bore is 0.827', PE Width is 0.780', Gram Wt is 490, and Torque Specs are 45 ft lbs - 3/8'.
Using these connecting rods is straightforward. Just follow the torque specifications of 45 ft lbs for the 3/8' fasteners during installation. Make sure the engine is turned off and cooled before starting the installation. When using your engine, keep an eye on the power output. These rods are rated up to 500WHP, so don't exceed this limit to avoid damage. For maintenance, regularly check the rods for any signs of wear or damage.
