Product Description

The CTR journal bearing turbocharger is renowned for offering the best value in terms of psi per dollar. Comp Turbo's cutting - edge design and technology have set a new benchmark for quality, performance, and value. Our journal bearing turbochargers feature a dynamic 360° thrust bearing, an upgrade over the industry - standard 270° bearing system. The CTR Dynamic 360° Journal Bearing turbochargers provide enhanced lubrication, a longer lifespan, and greater thrust load capacity. Proudly made in the USA, our complete line of turbochargers showcases the latest R - Line technology. These turbochargers come with the CTR 7/14 veined billet slim hub extended tip compressor wheel and a signature titanium bullet nose. Features include a titanium bullet nose, full rebuildability and upgradeability, an anti - surge compressor housing, CTR compressor and turbine wheels, and a 360° bolted thrust bearing. The CTR - line turbochargers have a 7 - 14 vaned compressor wheel, which is designed with the latest compressor technology. It has a minimum - diameter hub for maximum intake airflow and an extended tip design for better efficiency at high pressure ratios. The R - line design allows for higher boost pressures at high engine speeds and can increase engine HP output by up to 15%. The advanced R - line compressor wheels are available across our entire line of CT turbochargers. Note that turbochargers are built to order and take 3 to 5 weeks to deliver.

Using your CTR 360 Journal Bearing Turbocharger is straightforward. First, make sure your engine is turned off and cool before installation. Connect the turbocharger according to the provided instructions, ensuring all connections are secure. When starting the engine, let it idle for a few minutes to allow the turbocharger to lubricate properly. During operation, avoid sudden and extreme throttle changes, as this can put unnecessary stress on the turbo. For maintenance, regularly check the oil level and quality. Replace the oil at the recommended intervals to keep the turbo lubricated and running smoothly. Also, inspect the compressor and turbine wheels for any signs of damage or debris. If you notice any unusual noises or a drop in performance, it's a good idea to have the turbocharger checked by a professional. Remember, since these turbochargers are built to order and take 3 to 5 weeks to deliver, plan your maintenance and replacement needs in advance.
