Product Description

The TS2 - HDSS kit comes with ACT's top - selling Heavy Duty pressure plate and well - loved street disc. ACT's Heavy Duty pressure plates use a unique diaphragm design. This design boosts the clamp load, cuts down on deflection, and greatly extends the clutch's lifespan. All diaphragms go through a four - stage heat - treating process for outstanding performance. The pressure plates have precisely stamped covers for better rigidity and consistency. ACT's Performance Street discs are made of premium organic materials with a high copper content. This allows for excellent heat transfer. They also have a steel - backed lining for more strength and durability. These discs have less marcel, enabling faster shift actions to pair perfectly with ACT pressure plates, and offer enhanced strength and reliability.

Using this clutch kit is straightforward. First, make sure your car is turned off and parked safely. Then, install the clutch kit according to the vehicle's manual or with the help of a professional mechanic. When driving with the new clutch, start gently to allow it to break in properly. Avoid sudden and harsh shifts during the first few hundred miles. As for maintenance, regularly check the clutch for any signs of wear, like unusual noises or a spongy pedal. Keep the clutch area clean and free of debris. If you notice any issues, it's best to have it inspected by a mechanic right away.
