Product Description

The K-Tuned CMC Reservoir is a top-notch direct replacement for the S2000 CMC. Crafted from high-quality 6061 aluminum, it has the same volume as the OEM reservoir. The double o-ring seal guarantees zero chance of leakage. Set screws securely lock the reservoir in place once it's positioned. The diaphragm enables fluid movement while preventing air from interacting with the brake fluid. This is super important because brake fluid is hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs water from the air, which can lead to premature clutch fatigue and overheating. You can change this reservoir without re-bleeding the clutch system. First, put an absorbent towel or cloth under the CMC to avoid brake fluid contact with paint. Use a syringe or absorbent towel to slowly suck up the fluid in the reservoir. When the brake fluid level is low enough, remove the stock reservoir. Apply a bit of lube or oil on the o-rings before installation. Slowly press the new reservoir onto the CMC, being careful not to pitch or tear an o-ring. Once installed, use the set screws to lock the CMC in place. Application: 00-06 S2000 AP1/AP2. Note: Use a rag or shop towels to absorb the fluid in the original reservoir first. Place a thick absorbent towel under the master to prevent any leaks from touching the paint.

Using the K-Tuned CMC Reservoir is easy. First, make sure to place an absorbent towel under the CMC to protect the paint from brake fluid. Then, use a syringe or an absorbent towel to suck out the fluid in the old reservoir. Once the fluid level is low, remove the stock reservoir. Before installing the new one, put a little lube or oil on the o - rings. Gently press the new reservoir onto the CMC, being careful not to damage the o - rings. After installation, use the set screws to lock it in place. As for maintenance, keep an eye on the fluid level regularly. If you notice any signs of leakage, check the o - rings and set screws. Also, always follow the note instructions, like using a rag to absorb fluid from the original reservoir first and having a thick towel under the master to avoid paint damage.
