These universal slim fans are perfect for a wide range of applications. If you're doing a K-Series engine swap, the OE units are too thick, so this fan is a great replacement. It also works really well with our full-size radiators. We suggest using a 12-inch slim fan on half-size radiators (EG CIVICS USE 10-INCH FAN) and two 10-inch fans on full-size radiators.
Using this fan is simple. First, use the included mounting hardware to install the fan in your desired location, like in a radiator setup. When doing a K - Series engine swap, make sure to replace the thick OE units with this slim fan. For half - size radiators, use a single 12 - inch fan, and for full - size radiators, use two 10 - inch fans. Keep in mind that EG Civics need a 10 - inch fan. As for maintenance, regularly check the fan for any dirt or debris buildup. If it gets dirty, gently clean it with a soft brush. Also, make sure the power connections are secure to ensure the fan keeps running smoothly at 12v and 80 watts with its 6.7 - amp draw.
