This plug lets you remove the heater hose on the back of a K20A/A2/A3/Z1 cylinder head. No more hassle with looped hoses! Using this Hybrid Racing K - Series Cylinder Head Heater Pipe Plug is a breeze. First, locate the heater outlet pipe on the back of your K20A/A2/A3/Z1 cylinder head. Remove the existing heater hose carefully. Then, simply install the pipe plug in its place. It's designed to fit easily. When installing, make sure the Stainless Steel and Brass washer are properly in place for a good seal. As for maintenance, check the plug occasionally to ensure it's still tightly in place. If you notice any leaks or looseness, tighten the plug gently. Remember, if you also plan to remove the thermostat housing heater tube, you'll need to get the Heater Core Delete Kit (HYB - HCD - 01 - 03).
