Part Number 12650 features a 10 - micron micro - glass replacement element. It's a service element for Aeromotive Billet in - line filters. This element fits all 2' OD x 5 - 1/2' long ORB - 10 filter housings and comes with a new housing o - ring to reseal the filter assembly. It's suitable only for the pressure side of a fuel pump and works well with gasoline, diesel, ethanol, and methanol fuels. It directly replaces filter elements for Part Numbers 12340, 12346, 12350, 12345, 12375, and 12385. It's highly recommended for alcohol - based fuels like ethanol and methanol. For a filter element suitable only for gasoline - based fuels, check Part Number 12601. Using this Aeromotive replacement element is easy. First, make sure your fuel pump is turned off. Then, carefully remove the old filter element from the 2' OD x 5 - 1/2' long ORB - 10 filter housing. Install the new 10 - micron micro - glass element, making sure to use the included new housing o - ring to reseal the filter assembly. This element is only for the pressure side of the fuel pump. When using it, only use it with fuels like gasoline, diesel, ethanol, and methanol. Avoid using it with other types of fuels.
