As we all know, journal bearings have long been a turbocharger's strength and are still widely used. But the ball bearing cartridge is the latest in turbocharger bearing tech, bringing huge performance boosts. Comp Turbo has taken it to a whole new level! Their innovative design and technology have set a new standard for quality, performance, and value. High-performance applications need a turbocharger that can quickly build boost pressure. Comp Turbo's patented Triplex Ceramic Turbochargers are the answer. These ball bearing turbochargers feature a patented triplex ball bearing design with 99% mechanical efficiency. They have a faster transient response than the industry-standard dual ball bearing system because of minimized friction losses. This significantly improves response times and maximizes power output. Our patented Triplex Ceramic bearing system is housed in a billet aluminum cartridge, making our turbochargers 5 to 12 pounds lighter on average. Our entire line of turbochargers is proudly made in the USA and features our latest R-Line technology. It includes the CTR 7/14 veined billet slim hub extended tip compressor wheel and the high-efficiency CTR slim hub lightweight high-flow turbine wheel, our most advanced rotor tech yet. Features: • Titanium Bullet Nose • Fully Rebuildable/Upgradeable • Anti-Surge Compressor Housing • CTR Compressor and Turbine Wheel • Triplex Ceramic Bearing System CTR Compressor Wheel Technology: The CTR-line turbochargers have a 7 - 14 vaned compressor wheel, representing the latest compressor design. They have a minimum diameter hub to maximize intake airflow and an extended tip design for better efficiency at high pressure ratios. The R-line design can produce higher boost pressures at high engine speeds and increase engine HP output by up to 15%. CTR High Flow Turbine Technology: The CTR Turbine wheels have 25% lower inertia, leading to faster rotor acceleration. The slim hub and thin blade design make it unique and maximize flow capacity, 30% more than the prior GT style Turbine wheel. These wheels have minimal leaving velocity, which minimizes losses and leads to higher turbine efficiency and a greater flow range. They're designed for high exhaust flow and increased turbine efficiency. Turbochargers are built to order and take 3 to 5 weeks to deliver.

Using your Comp Turbo turbocharger is straightforward. Just install it according to the vehicle's specifications. Make sure all connections are secure before starting the engine. When starting the engine, let it idle for a short time to allow the oil to circulate properly through the turbocharger. During normal use, avoid sudden acceleration and deceleration, as this can put extra stress on the turbocharger. When you're about to turn off the engine, let it run at idle for a minute or two. This gives the turbocharger time to cool down and prevents oil from coking inside the bearings. For maintenance, regularly check the oil level and quality. Use high - quality oil as recommended in the vehicle's manual. Replace the oil and oil filter at the intervals specified by the manufacturer. Also, check the air filter regularly and replace it when it's dirty. This ensures clean air intake and protects the compressor wheel. If you notice any unusual noises, vibrations, or a decrease in performance, have the turbocharger inspected by a professional as soon as possible.
