Product Description

The H023 pressure plate boasts an exclusive diaphragm design. This design significantly boosts the clamp load, reduces deflection, and greatly extends the clutch life. Every ACT diaphragm undergoes a four - stage heat - treating process, ensuring unmatched performance. ACT pressure plates come with precision cover stampings, providing excellent rigidity and consistency. The Heavy Duty pressure plates from ACT increase the clamp load by 20 to 50 percent. They are highly recommended for use with both street and race discs. This part fits a wide range of Honda models including Civic Base (1988 - 1991), Civic CX (1992 - 2000), Civic DX (1988 - 2005), and many others, as well as CRX models from 1988 - 1991.

Using this clutch pressure plate is straightforward. First, make sure your vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is off. Remove the old pressure plate carefully and replace it with this new ACT Heavy Duty one. When installing, ensure all bolts are tightened properly to avoid any loose parts. As for maintenance, it's a good idea to check the pressure plate regularly, especially if you drive aggressively or use your vehicle for racing. Look for signs of wear and tear like excessive noise or difficulty in shifting gears. If you notice any issues, it might be time to have it inspected by a professional. Also, keep the pressure plate clean to prevent any debris from affecting its performance.
