Product Description

The T023 pressure plate has a unique diaphragm design. This design boosts the clamp load, reduces deflection, and greatly extends the clutch's lifespan. All ACT diaphragms go through a four - stage heat - treating process for outstanding performance. ACT pressure plates have precisely stamped covers, ensuring rigidity and consistency. The Heavy Duty pressure plates from ACT can increase the clamp load by 20 to 50 percent. They're ideal for use with street or race discs. This part fits a wide range of models including 1990 - 1991 Lexus ES250 Base, 1992 - 1993 Lexus ES300 Base, 1988 - 1991 Toyota Camry Base, and many more.

Using this clutch pressure plate is straightforward. First, make sure your vehicle is turned off and parked safely. Locate the old pressure plate and carefully remove it following the standard procedures in your vehicle's repair manual. Then, install the new ACT pressure plate in its place. When installing, ensure all bolts are tightened properly to avoid any loosening during operation. As for maintenance, it's a good idea to check the pressure plate periodically, especially if you use your vehicle for racing or heavy - duty driving. Look for any signs of wear or damage. If you notice any unusual noises or a decrease in clutch performance, it's time to have it inspected. Also, keep the pressure plate clean to prevent dirt and debris from affecting its operation.
