In 2012, we launched our original B/D Shifter. Since then, we've released three versions and made minor design updates over the years. In 2019, we've completely revamped the design. At the base, we've replaced the white plastic cage with a Delrin bushing. Delrin is an incredibly strong plastic, resistant to chemicals, making it ideal for automotive use. It also has high abrasion resistance and a low friction coefficient, ensuring smooth shifting right from the start and for a long time. This gives a tighter feel compared to the OEM accordion - style plastic housing. The Delrin bushing is covered with a TPV bushing to keep it clean. We've swapped the stamped steel base plate for a 0.35 - inch aluminum plate. It's sturdier and won't rust, adding to the shifter's rigidity. We've also added an extra threaded hole for more stability. The redesigned lower shaft retains the adjustable throw feature, now adjustable from inside the car. The 6061 aluminum black anodized lower adjustment shaft has a notched section for easy throw adjustment and a sight hole for clear measurement. The rest of the shifter has a familiar look with black - anodized elbows, machined logo, and edges for a clean appearance. All shifters are independently adjustable for height and throw. Applications include B - Series and D - Series Engines. Note that D15/D16 will use the stock steel plate, and you need to remove the billet plate on the base and reuse the factory plate. EM2/ES1 D17 is excluded.

Using this shifter is easy. You can adjust the throw from inside the car by spinning the 6061 aluminum black anodized lower adjustment shaft up or down. The sight hole helps you measure the adjustment clearly. When installing, if you have a D15/D16 engine, remove the billet plate on the base and reuse the factory plate. And remember, EM2/ES1 D17 engines are not compatible with this shifter. For maintenance, keep the shifter clean. The TPV bushing on the Delrin bushing helps keep it clean from debris. Check the aluminum base plate periodically for any signs of damage, but since it's rust - resistant, you don't have to worry about rust. If you notice any play or issues with the shifting feel, check the extra threaded hole and the overall assembly for tightness.
