Product Description

The DRAG CARTEL Tensioner Cover Plate is crafted from raw 6061 billet aluminum and comes with new hardware, ready for easy installation. It features a simple o - ring seal set in a machined groove on the back. This design revolutionizes timing chain tensioner checks and changes. No more messy sealers! You won't have to deal with the hassle of cleaning them off, and you can say goodbye to the common problem of the OEM stamped steel cover plate bending when pried off the chain case. The DRAG CARTEL lower timing chain guide is a game - changer. When you're doing a cam swap on a K - Series head, it stops the timing chain from slipping off the crank pulley chain gear. We all know how frustrating it is when the timing chain slips during a cam swap, but this guide takes care of that issue. Compatible with Honda / Acura K24 and Honda/ Acura K20 models.

Using the Drag Cartel K - Series parts is straightforward. For the tensioner cover plate, just use the included new hardware to install it. The o - ring seal makes it easy to do checks and changes on the timing chain tensioner. When installing the lower timing chain guide, make sure it's properly placed to prevent the timing chain from slipping off the crank pulley chain gear during a cam swap. As for maintenance, regularly check the o - ring on the tensioner cover plate for any signs of wear or damage. Keep the chain guide clean and inspect it for any signs of excessive wear. If you notice any issues, it's a good idea to replace the parts to keep your engine running smoothly.
