The Honda ZDX throttle body is an excellent upgrade for Drive-By-Wire (DBW) cars aiming to boost airflow. It provides OEM-level reliability at an affordable price. Our adapter simplifies the process of bolting it onto any manifold with an RBC/RRC bolt pattern. We've added several great features for a simple installation and a perfect fit. The adapter has a two-piece design to ensure proper alignment during installation. The first plate, the Manifold Plate, bolts onto the intake manifold and seals with an o-ring. At the base, out of sight, there are two 1/8 NPT ports that can be used for accessory vacuum lines, EVAP Purge, Brake Booster, etc. There's also a new MAP port. We've moved all these to the bottom to maintain a clean and simple look. An optional tapered sleeve is available if you don't want to port match your manifold. The sleeve provides a smooth transition from the larger ZDX port to the stock manifold inlet, ensuring smooth airflow. We include a thermal gasket to be used between the throttle body and the top plate, the Throttle Body Plate. As always, we provide all the necessary hardware, two 1/8 NPT plugs, and two rubber MAP plugs. We offer Billet MAP Plugs as an upgrade for boost setups or for customers who prefer something nicer than black rubber. We also provide 1/8 NPT to 3/8 Barb 90-degree fittings to connect EVAP or other vacuum lines. You can disable and remove EVAP in Flashpro to further streamline the installation. Applications include ZDX Throttle Body on RBC bolt pattern manifolds, 2006 - 2015 Civic Si, and 04+ TSX CL. Note: ZDX Throttle Body Part Number - 16400 - RYE - A11.
Using the K-Tuned ZDX Throttle Body Adapter is easy. First, take the Manifold Plate and bolt it onto your intake manifold. Make sure to use the o - ring for a good seal. Then, you can attach the throttle body to the Throttle Body Plate with the included thermal gasket in between. If you don't want to port match your manifold, use the optional tapered sleeve. It will help with smooth airflow. Connect the accessory vacuum lines or other components to the 1/8 NPT ports at the base. You can use the provided 1/8 NPT to 3/8 Barb 90 - degree fittings for this. If you're doing a boost setup, consider upgrading to the Billet MAP Plugs. When installing, don't forget to disable and remove EVAP in Flashpro to make the installation cleaner. As for maintenance, periodically check the bolts for tightness and the o - ring for any signs of wear. If you notice any air leaks or reduced performance, it might be time to replace the gaskets or check the connections.
