These Hybrid Racing shifter cables are easy to use. Just replace your old OEM cables with these new ones. They are a direct replacement, and the aluminum bushings make installation a bit easier. When shifting, you'll notice a firmer and tighter feel, which means fewer missed shifts. Remember, these cables are heat - resistant up to 225°F and have a max bend radius of 5' for the best lifespan. They're not suitable for V6 transmissions. For maintenance, since the core is permanently lubricated, you don't need to do much. But it's a good idea to check the connections regularly to make sure everything is secure. These cables are designed specifically for the USDM Acura TSX (2004 - 2008) and Honda Accord (2003 - 2007), and while they might work on other applications, Hybrid Racing doesn't support them.
