Using this K - Tuned thermostat housing plug and bracket is easy. First, remove the OEM heater hose pipe from your K - series engine. Then, place the O - Ring sealed plug into the opening left behind. Secure it in place with the special hold - down bracket. If you need an accessory water or coolant connection, you can use the 10AN o - ring port plug on top. As for maintenance, periodically check the O - ring for any signs of wear or damage. If the O - ring is worn out, replace it to ensure a proper seal. Also, make sure the hold - down bracket is tight to keep the plug in place.
