The K-Tuned Slave Cylinder is an excellent upgrade for those looking to replace leaking or worn-out OEM units. Many new K-Series cars (05 - 06 RSX, 06+ Civic Si) come with a slave cylinder having an internal oil restrictor, which slows down the fluid movement. Similar to master cylinders with a feedback plate that reduces movement speed, this can be a problem. Reduced speed may cause the clutch not to fully disengage or engage quickly during shifting, leading to premature wear of synchros or gears. Application: K-Series Transmissions.
