These heavy - duty transmission detent springs are easy to install. First, refer to the installation instructions as a general guide for the Honda L - Series transmission. For the Honda K - Series transmission, make sure to torque the detent bolts to 16 lbf - ft (22 N - m / 2.2 kgf - m). Depending on your car model, you'll use either 2 or 3 springs. The Honda Fit / Jazz 5spd uses 2 springs, while the CRZ and Honda Fit RS 6spd use all 3 springs. Once installed, you'll notice an immediate change in the feel of your gear shifts.
