Using your Hybrid Racing V3 Short Shifter is a breeze. First, make sure your car engine is off. To adjust the shift knob height or position, simply use a 5mm allen wrench. You can make the knob 2 inches taller or 1 inch lower than stock and move it closer or further from the steering wheel. Adjust the throw and gate spacing according to your preference, which can range from 10% to 50% reduction in throw. When driving, enjoy the smooth and crisp gear changes. As for maintenance, the stainless steel bearings don't need lubrication. However, periodically check the internal spring. You can swap it for a stiffer or lighter one to change the resistance level. If you have a K - Swap chassis, remember it requires a custom mounting plate or other fabrication.
