• The Hybrid Racing solid shifter base is a top - quality component that lets you mount a TSX shifter right on top of the exhaust tunnel in specific chassis models. It's CNC machined from a solid piece of billet aluminum and has a gorgeous Dust Black finish.

  The rubber lower seal is a great addition, keeping unwanted particles and fumes out. You can use the included hardware to mount either the Hybrid Racing TSX shifter or the factory unit.

  Note that you'll need to drill two small M8 holes, similar to our K - swap bolt - in shifters.

Using this Hybrid Racing TSX shifter mounting plate is straightforward. First, make sure your vehicle is one of the compatible models: 1988 - 2000 Honda Civic & Del Sol or 1989 - 2001 Acura Integra. Drill two small M8 holes as required, similar to our K - swap bolt - in shifters. Then, use the included stainless hardware to mount either the Hybrid Racing TSX shifter or the factory unit directly onto the top of the exhaust tunnel in your EF, EG, EK, DA or DC2 chassis. The rubber lower seal will help keep dust, dirt, debris, and fumes out of your vehicle. As for maintenance, regularly check the mounting bolts to ensure they are tight. Clean the anodized billet aluminum surface with a mild cleaner to keep its Dust Black finish looking great. If you notice any signs of wear on the rubber seal, replace it to maintain its functionality.
