Note for 99 - 00 DOHC Civic: This traction bar doesn't directly bolt onto 99 - 00 DOHC Civic models SI & SIR. To fit these models, you'll need to weld the LCA bracket to the one - piece control arm that usually bolts onto other models. It does work, but since it's not a 'bolt - on' fit, we say it doesn't fit. However, it will fit if you have access to a welder.

Using the K - Tuned K - Swap Traction Bar is quite straightforward. First, locate your factory tow hook mounting location. The bar is designed to bolt directly onto it, so installation is easy. Just use the included hardware to secure it properly. If you're doing a K - swap and want to relocate the radiator, the included rad brackets give you some options. For the 99 - 00 DOHC Civic models SI & SIR, you'll need a welder to fit the bar as it doesn't bolt on directly. Be careful when handling the bar, especially around the sharp edges of the laser - cut parts. Regularly check the bolts and connections to make sure they're tight. If you notice any signs of wear on the powder coating or the aluminum radius arms, you can clean and polish them to keep them in good condition. Also, store the bar in a dry place when not in use to prevent rust and corrosion.
