A well - designed cold air intake and high - flow cone filter are great, but adding a velocity stack can take it to the next level. Just like the bellmouth in an intake manifold, our velocity stack can increase air - moving efficiency by up to 70% in the right conditions.
Each kit includes a velocity stack, a filter, and a hose clamp. The velocity stack has a 6 - inch inlet and a 3 - inch outlet. You only need a 3.5 - inch silicone coupler and two hose clamps to connect it to your 3.5 - inch cold air intake. The fully assembled filter and velocity stack are 6.25 inches tall and 7.5 inches in diameter.
NOTICE: Hybrid Racing advises always using the filter on the cold air intake. Pointing the velocity stack into oncoming air without the filter may offer slight gains, but it risks engine damage as unfiltered air can let debris enter the engine.
