K-Tuned 8th Gen Intake Short Ram and CAI

K-Tuned intake kits let you build an intake system that's a perfect fit for your vehicle. You can choose between Short Ram or Cold Air configurations, and easily switch between them. The velocity coupler offers a smooth transition from the piping to the throttle body, unlike standard silicone couplers. You can select the primary intake pipe size, available in 3' and 3.5'. Both Short Ram and Cold Air Intakes come with a K-Tuned K24 Upper Radiator Hose, which moves the upper hose down to create space for the new intake. There's also a special battery tray to move the battery to the frame rail and free up more room. All necessary hardware and clamps are included. Application: 06 - 11 Civic Si. Features: Available in 3.0' and 3.5' piping. Notes: Flashpro or KTuner is required. Does not fit base model. Battery tie down is not included. If using the 3.5' pipe, switch to a MAP - based tune with Flashpro. Comes with a coupler for the stock throttle body only; order an additional coupler for a different size. Only available with a regular filter; V - Stack Combo is no longer offered due to fitment issues on some setups.

Using this K - Tuned intake system is straightforward. First, decide whether you want the Short Ram or Cold Air configuration. Then, choose the right primary intake pipe size (3' or 3.5') that suits your needs. When installing, use the K - Tuned K24 Upper Radiator Hose to move the upper hose down and make space for the intake. Move the battery to the frame rail using the special battery tray. Make sure to use all the included hardware and clamps. Note that you need Flashpro or KTuner. If you choose the 3.5' pipe, you'll have to switch to a MAP - based tune. The coupler is for the stock throttle body, so get an extra one if your throttle body is a different size. The system comes with a regular filter, and the V - Stack Combo isn't available. For maintenance, regularly check the filter and clean or replace it as needed. Also, inspect the couplers and clamps for any signs of wear or looseness.
