Product Description

If you're after maximum power output, this is the intake for you. Our race-inspired, eye-catching intake design is a perfect fit for all EG, EK (EKK2 mounts only), and DC2 chassis when paired with our K-Tuned Passenger Side Radiator and RBC or RRC intake manifold. It can also be adapted to work with the factory PRB / PRC manifold. We've dyno-tuned this system to ensure optimal HP gains, as the diameter and length of the intake pipe are crucial. The 3-inch diameter mandrel bent aluminum tubing fits neatly in the engine bay, right in front of the transmission case. The front air filter sits just behind the front bumper grille, guaranteeing a steady supply of cold air. On track days, you can remove the air filter for maximum airflow. An open V-stack has been proven to offer a slight increase in mph during drag races. Application: K-swapped cars. Note: Flashpro or KTuner is required. It only fits K-Swap cars (EG/DC2 or EK with EKK2 mounts) using our passenger rad kit and RBC/RRC manifold. Please select the filter with or without a velocity stack from the drop-down menu.


Using this K-Tuned Ram Air Intake is simple. First, make sure your car is a K-swapped one and meets the requirements like having the K-Tuned Passenger Side Radiator and RBC or RRC intake manifold. Install the intake following the included instructions, placing the 3-inch aluminum tubing in the engine bay in front of the transmission case and positioning the air filter behind the front bumper grille. For normal driving, keep the air filter in place to protect the engine. But on track days, if you want maximum airflow, you can remove the air filter. Just remember, you'll need a Flashpro or KTuner for it to work. When it comes to maintenance, regularly check the air filter for dirt and debris. Clean or replace it as needed. If you chose a filter with a velocity stack, inspect it too to ensure it's in good condition. Also, keep an eye on the intake tubing for any signs of damage or wear.
