Product Description

Upgrade your Civic Type R and Integra - S with our top - notch 1640cc injectors, custom - designed and proudly made in the US. These high - flowing injectors offer a whopping 55% increase in fuel delivery compared to the stock FK8, FL5, and DE5 injectors. They maintain a smooth idle and a stock - like spray pattern. Key features include: Four 1640 cc Hondata injectors (55% over stock), E85 compatibility, stock - like atomization, US design and manufacturing, and sold as a matched set of 4. To ensure optimal atomization, the injector fuel exit has a counter - bored stepped design. Hondata tested with a microfine grid under each injector. The stock injectors have 7 counter - bored holes, Hondata 1427 injectors have 9, and competitors have 6 counter - bored and 1 non - counterbored. Regarding the spray cone and bend angle, at 100 bar, the stock FK8 has a 52.1 cone angle and 20 bend angle, Hondata has 49 and 18, and the competition has 35.7 and 8. The max operating pressure is 250 bar, and the max sensor range is 260 bar. Exceeding 260 bar means you won't know the over - pressure. We've seen no power gains over 220 bar. High pressure improves atomization but reduces fuel volume. Hondata injectors are designed to work between 200 - 240 bar. Competing injectors may lock up at 230 bar, which is bad for your engine.

Using these Hondata injectors is straightforward. First, make sure your vehicle is turned off and has cooled down. Then, carefully remove the old injectors and install the new 1640cc injectors in their place. Ensure a proper fit and connection. As for fuel, these injectors are E85 compatible, so you have some flexibility. When it comes to pressure, try to keep the fuel pressure between 200 and 240 bar for the best performance. Don't exceed 260 bar as you won't be able to measure the over - pressure accurately. Also, be aware that very high pressure can cause the injectors to lock up and stop delivering fuel. For maintenance, regularly check the injectors for any signs of leaks or damage. If you notice any issues, it's best to have them inspected by a professional. Remember, high pressure can decrease fuel pump volumetric efficiency, so find the right balance for your vehicle's needs.
