The journal bearing has long been a key part of turbochargers and is still widely used. But Comp Turbo brings you the latest ball bearing cartridge technology, taking turbocharger performance to a whole new level! Comp Turbo's innovative design sets a new standard for quality, performance, and value. High-performance applications need a turbocharger that can quickly build boost pressure. Comp Turbo's patented Triplex Ceramic Turbochargers are the answer. Our ball bearing turbochargers feature a patented triplex ball bearing design with 99% mechanical efficiency. This means faster transient response compared to the industry standard dual ball bearing system due to less friction. It dramatically improves response times and maximizes power output. Our patented Triplex Ceramic bearing system is housed in a billet aluminum cartridge, making our turbochargers 5 to 12 pounds lighter on average. Our turbochargers are proudly made in the USA and feature the latest R-Line technology. The CTR 7/14 veined billet slim hub extended tip compressor wheel and high efficiency CTR slim hub lightweight high flow turbine wheel offer our most advanced rotor technology yet. Features include: Titanium Bullet Nose, Fully Rebuildable/Upgradeable, Anti-Surge Compressor Housing, CTR Compressor and Turbine Wheel, and Triplex Ceramic Bearing System. The CTR-line compressor wheels are 7 - 14 vaned, with a minimum diameter hub for more intake airflow and an extended tip design for better efficiency at high pressure ratios. The R-line design can increase engine HP output by up to 15% at high engine speeds. The CTR Turbine wheels have 25% lower inertia for faster rotor acceleration. Their slim hub and thin blade design increase flow capacity by 30% compared to the prior GT style Turbine wheel. With minimal leaving velocity, they offer higher turbine efficiency and a greater flow range. Turbochargers are built to order and take 3 to 5 weeks to deliver.


Using your Comp Turbo turbocharger is straightforward. First, make sure it's properly installed according to the vehicle's specifications. Once installed, start your engine as normal and the turbocharger will work to boost your engine's performance. When it comes to maintenance, regularly check the oil levels as it's oil-lubricated. Keep an eye on the bearing system to ensure it's in good condition. If you notice any unusual noises or a drop in performance, it might be time for a check-up. Since the turbochargers are fully rebuildable and upgradeable, you can have them serviced by a professional when needed. Remember, these turbochargers are built to order and it takes 3 to 5 weeks for delivery, so plan ahead if you're replacing an old one.
