Our innovative design and tech reset the standards for quality, performance, and value. High - performance applications need a turbocharger that can quickly build boost pressure. Comp Turbo's patented Triplex Ceramic Turbochargers are the answer! Our ball bearing turbochargers feature a patented triplex ball bearing design with 99% mechanical efficiency. Thanks to minimized friction losses, they have a faster transient response than the industry - standard dual ball bearing system. This dramatically improves response times and maximizes power output. Our patented Triplex Ceramic bearing system is housed in a billet aluminum cartridge, making our turbochargers 5 to 12 pounds lighter on average. Proudly made in the USA, our turbochargers feature the latest R - Line technology. The CTR 7/14 veined billet slim hub extended tip compressor wheel and high - efficiency CTR slim hub lightweight high - flow turbine wheel are part of our most advanced rotor technology. The R - line design can increase engine HP output by up to 15% at high engine speeds. CTR High Flow Turbine Technology: The CTR Turbine wheels have 25% lower inertia for faster rotor acceleration.
