Our K-Tuned 72mm Drive By Wire Throttle Body is a direct fit for RBC/RRC manifolds and others with the same bolt pattern. It features a true 72mm bore, larger than the ZDX throttle at the butterfly, allowing for increased airflow. To manage this extra airflow, some form of engine management like Flashpro is required. We've used the stock configuration and an OEM connector, eliminating the need for a jumper harness and giving it an almost OEM look when installed. Inside, you'll find a machined 72mm bore and a brass butterfly. There are two 1/8NPT vacuum ports at the bottom, useful for evap, brake booster, or vacuum reference. The package includes a thermal gasket, mounting bolts, and two 1/8NPT plugs. The inlet uses a 3' silicone coupler, though you may need to change it to match your intake. Our 72mm throttle body is significantly larger than many stock options. It's 44% larger than the Stock 2006 - 11 Civic Si Throttle Body, 27% larger than the J35 Throttle Body, and 9% larger than the ZDX/J37. Applications include 06 - 15 Civic Si, 06 - 09 S2000, 13 - 15 ILX, and 09 - 14 TSX. Note that Flashpro is required.

Using the K - Tuned 72mm Drive By Wire Throttle Body is straightforward. First, make sure your vehicle is one of the compatible models like the 06 - 15 Civic Si, 06 - 09 S2000, 13 - 15 ILX, or 09 - 14 TSX. You'll need to have Flashpro installed for proper engine management. When installing, connect the throttle body to the RBC/RRC or compatible manifold using the provided mounting bolts and thermal gasket. The OEM connector makes the installation easy, and it will look almost like the original part when done. The inlet uses a 3' silicone coupler, but you might need to change it to fit your intake system. The two 1/8NPT vacuum ports at the bottom can be used for evap, brake booster, or vacuum reference, so connect them as needed and use the provided plugs if you don't need them. For maintenance, keep the throttle body clean. You can use a throttle body cleaner to remove any dirt or debris from the bore and the brass butterfly. Check the connections regularly to make sure they're tight and there are no loose wires. Also, keep an eye on the engine management system with Flashpro to ensure the throttle body is working properly.
