  • Our heavy-duty gear selector springs boost preload and have an 82% stiffer spring rate compared to factory parts. This helps in 'centering' the gear selector and shifter. Replacing the soft OEM springs with these will make your gear changes sharper. These parts are also included in every Hybrid Racing performance shifter cable kit, which we've been using and selling for almost a decade.

Using these Hybrid Racing gear selector springs is easy. First, make sure your car engine is off and the vehicle is parked safely. Remove the old OEM springs and replace them with these heavy - duty ones. When driving, you'll notice sharper gear changes right away. As for maintenance, it's a good idea to check the springs regularly, about once every few months or after a long race. Look for any signs of wear or damage. If you notice anything unusual, it might be time to replace the springs. Also, keep in mind that these springs are designed for a wide range of cars, but always double - check the vehicle fitment list to ensure they're suitable for your car model.
