These interchangeable inlets are designed for K-Tuned Throttle Bodies. You can easily switch the standard barb fitting to a V-Band or Vanjen fitting in 3' or 3.5'. No more welding throttle bodies! Just remove the 4 bolts holding the standard inlet and replace it with your chosen new inlet. You'll reuse the o - ring that came with your throttle body. Applications include K - Series KTD - TB8 - RBC, K - Series KTD - TB8 - IAK, and B - Series KTD - TB8 - IAB. If you're not sure which throttle body you have, email info@k - tuned.com with a picture.
Using these K - Tuned throttle body inlets is easy. First, identify which throttle body you have. If you're unsure, send a picture to info@k - tuned.com. Once you know your throttle body type, to change the inlet, remove the 4 bolts holding the standard inlet. Then, take out the old inlet and replace it with your new V - Band or Vanjen fitting in 3' or 3.5'. Remember to reuse the o - ring that came with your throttle body. For maintenance, regularly check the bolts for tightness and the o - ring for any signs of wear. If the o - ring is damaged, replace it with a new one. Keep the inlets clean to ensure optimal performance.
